About a month before my baby's due date, I started doing research and decided I wanted to have my placenta encapsulated. Through a combination of searches and reviews, I decided to contact Shawna at BAPS. She responded promptly and answered all of my questions - I knew I made the right decision before I even had my baby! She was able to meet my husband outside the hospital (Kaiser RWC) just a few hours after I delivered our baby, and she returned a day or two later (that first week was kind of a blur) with the pills and the herbal sitz bath I also ordered from her (highly recommended for any new mom, especially those delivering vaginally). She reached out after about a week to check on me and see if I had any additional questions - super thoughtful and very much appreciated by this first time mama.
